The company S DOUKAS SA is active in the field of wiring, the construction of fences, the sale of fencing materials and the construction of metal structures of all types. It is one of the largest wire mesh factories and with its specialized workshops undertakes projects such as fencing of national roads, photovoltaic parks, fields, camps, plots both in Greece and abroad. It has modern knitting machines for woven and barbed wire mesh, machines for making vine-growing pipes, machines for cutting pipes and corners, a pantograph for special metal constructions and stranding.
The company was founded in 1984 as a sole proprietorship in Nikisiani, Kavala, by Doukas Stergios, the current President and CEO of the company. The first expansion took place in 2002, at the company's current headquarters at the 14th km of Drama-Kavala. In this way, the company made a huge leap of progress, as a result of which it pioneered and became a leading company in the field of fencing and iron trading. With the legal form of the anonymous company, it has been operating since 2007 until today, where the second expansion of the business took place with the construction of the second building. The company was established in a privately owned area within a plot of 10000 sq.m. In 2008, following the current developments and the increased needs of the market, the company S DOUKAS SA decides to expand its facilities with the establishment of the branch at the 4th km of Xanthi-Kavala. The son Doukas Nikolaos now dynamically enters the company, who takes over the management and operation of the branch. The implementation of large projects in the Balkan region created the need to establish a new company in the Skopje region under the name NIKOLAOS DUKAS DOOEL GEVGELIJA, which is also managed by Nikolaos Doukas. Following the evolution of our industry, our company seeks to evolve according to the needs of the market, increasing its turnover and constantly renewing its equipment to better serve our customers and partners.
